Ingredients
Cake:
- 1 ½ cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp salt
- 2 apples, peeled and diced
Crumb Topping:
- ½ cup flour
- ⅓ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup butter, cold & cubed
- ½ tsp cinnamon

- 9″ round or square pan
- Mixing bowls
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease pan.
- Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, vanilla, sour cream.
- Stir in dry ingredients. Fold in apples.
- Pour batter into pan.
- Mix crumb topping ingredients until coarse.
- Sprinkle crumble over batter.
- Bake 40–45 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
