Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- ½ cup flour
- ½ cup milk
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 apples, sliced
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
Equipment
- 10″ cast-iron skillet
- Blender or whisk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F. Place skillet inside.
- Blend eggs, flour, milk, sugar, vanilla and cinnamon.
- Melt butter in hot skillet; add apples and brown sugar.
- Pour batter over apples.
- Bake 20 minutes until puffed and golden.
Tips & Swaps
- Replace apples with pears.
- Add nutmeg for extra warmth.
Optional Touch
Dust with powdered sugar and serve with maple whipped cream.
